Debbie DeMarco
Debbie DeMarco's passion for writing started at a very young age. She went on to graduate from New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses in English, Communication, and Behavioral Science. She also has a certificate in Early Childhood Education.
As time went on, Debbie explored her artistic side by studying makeup artistry and became a certified makeup artist. This experience yielded opportunities for her to learn about contrast, color theory, color correction, and from a human and psychological perspective, the positive effects of self-care.
In 2010, she went on to combine her love of makeup art with her passion for writing and created Nineveh Makeup Ministries, a website where she interviews celebrity (and celebrated) makeup artists and companies who are giving back in ways that make the world a beautiful place. She also founded a professional writing and editing company called "Saved By The Scribe."
The breadth of her interest spectrum and her love of writing allow her to create interesting and engaging articles for Suite101.com.
"The one passion I've returned to time and time again in my life is writing. Once I get started, it flows through my veins to my finger tips and then pours out through the pen or computer keys. I love to create work that leaves readers feeling like they just spent their time in a valuable way. I want the reader to be able to completely imagine the circumstances that I am describing. Hope you enjoy!" - Debbie DeMarco
